At least 12 people died from shooting at the offices of satirical Paris weekly magazine, Charlie Hebdo, yesterday. What a tragedy. Imagine going to work and not returning home because someone stormed your office and went amok shooting at you, and killed you? Because they were offended by your work? WTF?
In 2012 Robert Mankoff wrote, “When dealing with a subject like religion or ethnicity in cartoons, it’s hard to avoid offending someone somewhere sometime – I’m sure I have.” And with his article, he posted this cartoon by Michael Shaw:
